What should I keep in mind when changing the gobo?
„When removing the clamping ring, make sure that the gobo doesn’t get scratched. When inserting glass gobos, make sure that the matte white coated side is facing the lens. Gobos that must not twist, such as logos, should be additionally secured against twisting with a drop of silicone adhesive. When using original JB gobos, the markings on the gobo, gobo holder and gobo wheel must be observed! You can find precise instructions in the manual, Chapter 8.2. Can the LED modules be replaced?
„Yes, that is possible. However, the replacement is relatively demanding, so we recommend that our service team do it. “
Can I also have you repair my lamps?
„Absolutely! To ensure faster processing of your repair request, please use our service form and insert it filled out and printed with each product upon shipping.“
How do I find out if there are new software updates?
„You can find the current software for each product in the download area, with the current selection, and on our website’s corresponding product pages. And, naturally, our technology newsletter will inform you. That assumes that you have already subscribed to Tech-News.“
I need replacement parts. Who should I contact?
„It’s best to contact Benjamin Simeg and Roland Grundner from the /Service/Ersatzteilserviceservice team directly.“
Are there special care instructions and intervals for the devices?
„At regular intervals – once a year – the zoom/focus guide rails, the rotating gobos, and the aperture slider bearings on the profile lights should be checked for adequate lubrication. The plastic parts of the headlight should be regularly checked for damage and beginning cracks – also see Chapter 8.9 in the manual.“
