Framing module
Like all JB Fresnel washers, the P15 Wash is are equipped with a 4-level blade mechanism, whereby each of the four blades is at its own level. Compared to the 2-level mechanism, this has the benefit that all blades overlap and can be moved exactly parallel to each other. This means that edges can also be delineated precisely with the P15 Wash and the Fresnel lens. Each of the four blades can be rotated and positioned freely and can be pushed in over virtually the entire usable range at the maximum angle (+/-30°). The framing module itself can also be rotated continuously by 130° (+/-65°). This also enables extremely steep lighting angles and fast, precise deflection with minimum lighting loss.

MIXING COLORS
The P15 Wash has a highly-efficient optical system with 13 coated anti-reflective lenses to guarantee perfectly homogeneous lighting. The CMY color mixing system with CMY color flags that move in at both sides enables even and precise color mixing, even for colors with low saturation (pastel colors). Thanks to the linear CTC filter, the base color temperature can be adjusted exactly along the black body line in order to optimise it for an existing environment – linear CO filter on the P15 HC: 6000–3200K and with the P15 HP: 7000–3200K and with the help of the linear CTB filter on the P15 WW: 3200–7700K.

COLORS & CTC FILTER
In all three versions (HC, HP and WW), the effects unit of the P15 Wash is equipped with a color wheel with 6 full colors, a high CRI and CTB filter, CMY color mixing and the aforementioned linear CTC filter. Thanks to the JB click system, the color and correction filters can also be exchanged as required and replaced with other color filters or special CTO, CTB and UV filters.
