A shining example

The combination of an optical system, 1,000W white light LED module, heat pipe cooling, color mixing behaviour, zoom range and full effect equipment make the P15 Profile a trendsetter in terms of efficiency, light quality and projection attributes in its performance class.

It also achieves the best values in the “silent running” category. It is multifunctional and extremely versatile. Equipped with everything required to put on an impressive and reliable show on any stage.

FRAMING MODULE

On JB products, all framing modules are equipped with a 4-level blade mechanism, whereby each of the four blades is at its own level. Compared to the 2-level mechanism, this has the benefit that all blades overlap and can be moved exactly parallel to each other. This enables even the finest lien shapes to be projected. Each of the four blades can be rotated and positioned freely and can be pushed in over virtually the entire usable range at the maximum angle (+/- 30°). This also enables extremely steep lighting angles and fast, precise deflection with minimum lighting loss. Of course, the framing module itself can also be turned continuously by 130° (+/- 65°).

MIXING COLORS

The P15 Profile has a highly-efficient optical system with 13 coated anti-reflective lenses to guarantee perfectly homogeneous lighting (centre to edge) and sharp mid-air effects. The CMY color mixing system with color discs that move in at the side enables even and exact color mixing, even for colors with low saturation (pastel colors). Thanks to the linear CTC filter, the base color temperature can be adjusted exactly along the black body line in order to optimise it for an existing environment (on the P15 HC: 5800K–3200K, on the HP: 6800K–3200 K and on the WW: 3200K–7700K). In order to correct the color shift for gobo applications, a CTB filter is always inserted automatically here (can be switched off).

COLORS & CTC FILTER

The effect unit on all three versions (HC, HP and WW) of the P15 Profile has a color wheel with 6 full colors, a high CRI and CTB filter, CMY color mixing and a linear CTO filter that makes way for a linear CTB filter on the P15 Profile WW.

ZOOM RANGE

With its highly efficient optical system, the P15 Profile generates impressively homogeneous and defined beams in the entire zoom range of 5.7 – 60°.

FROST FILTERS

The two infinitely insertable and combinable frost filters (1°, 5°) enable blurry beam edges to be generated in a targeted manner. Other optional frost levels: 2°, 3.5°, 10°, 20°.

PRISMS

The gobos on the P15 Profile can be combined with a circular 3-facet prism or a linear 5-facet prism and rotate at different speeds.

3-section prism (circular)

JB PLUG-IN TECHNOLOGY

All inserts in JB devices can be removed quickly and easily for servicing and cleaning without tools or manual cable disconnection.

DIMMING

The luminosity on the P15 Profile can be controlled electronically from 0–100% (infinitely variable) or using three different dimming curves. The bypass function on the P15 also enables operation to continue if one device drops out even when dimming several devices connected in a row.

OPTIONAL: PATH LIMITATION

The P15 Profile is prepared for use with our mechanical path limiter that can be used to limit the movement radius of pan 540° and tilt 280° individually.
To do this, the path limiter (code ZU0029) is used to define new start and end points. After the subsequent “limit” reset, the limited movement radius is also logged by the software and taken into account automatically in future resets.

Gobos

The P15 Profile is equipped with two gobo wheels, each with 6 rotatable, positionable and interchangeable gobos that can be used to create impressive effects. Heat-resistant and extremely high-contrast precision gobos with dichroic layer, which have the best absorption and laser attributes and therefore also enable the finest shapes and patterns to be rendered.
